Check the total, not just the product price
Some costs appear late in checkout. Before paying, compare the product price with the final order total and look for delivery, handling, service, booking or payment fees.
Review optional extras
Look for warranties, insurance, donations, tips or other add-ons. Confirm whether each item is optional and whether a checkbox was selected by default.
Check taxes and currency
Look for statements about VAT, import duties, currency conversion and other taxes. If the seller ships across borders, the final cost may differ from the initial display.
Keep a record
Save the order summary and confirmation. If the amount charged differs from what was shown, contact the seller and payment provider promptly.
